Madonna has been
interviewed by hundreds of publications, from Vanity Fair to The New York
Times. But it was her fans that got her to spill the most during an online chat
Monday on Reddit. Her juiciest
reveal was that she
had a dream she was in bed with Brad Pitt.
She saw Brad Pitt in
her sleep: The 55-year-old admits she recently had a dream she was in bed with
Angelina Jolie's fiance
'Brad Pitt and I were
living together and there was a small blonde child in the bed,' the Material
Girl, 55, said.
'Sorry Angelina, it
was only a dream.'
She also confessed
that she had received a 'bong in the shape of a penis' for her birthday and she
has made out with her grills on.
The Grammy winner,
whose next project is the secret project revolution art for freedom, didn't
seem to mind being probed about anything and everything.
She admitted to
liking dirty martinis and lemon tarts. And she says she has made out with her
grills on.
When it comes to her
own work she was unusually candid.
The Truth Or Dare
star thinks Erotica is a 'great album' and that her video for 'Justify My
Love,' which was shot in Paris, is her favorite.
She also believes her
album American Life didn't get good reviews 'because I dealt with a lot of
controversial issues in it.' She added, 'I criticized American politics, the
entertainment business in Hollywood. I was in an angry mood when i was making
it. Maybe that came across. but I was in an angry mood when I made my last
album too.'
When asked if there
may be a new album in 2014 she said, 'There might be...my creative juices are
flowing...' and that she'd like 'to work with Daft Punk, just waiting for them
to return my call.'
She also said she'd
like to tell her 20-year-old self, 'Don't take any of this personally.'
About 12,000
questions were submitted and the Evita actress managed to answer over two dozen
of them.
The mother of four
confessed she'd like to 'sleep more' probably because she works so much.
Her most embarrassing
moment was when she 'went out on stage and said hello to the wrong city,' she
wrote. She blamed that on 'sleep deprivation.'
These days she feels
'pulled in a million directions' but if Madonna had time, she'd go back to
school. 'School is fun you just get to learn.'
She'd like to travel
to Egypt and and Lamu, an African island.
The Dolce &
Gabanna model says she'd love to turn openly bisexual Frank Ocean straight and
adds that she is 'a gay man.'
When a fan asked how
to deal with a difficult breakup, Madonna said she should 'gang bang,' then
explained that this person should listen to her song Gang Bang from her MDNA
album.
She admires the
soundtrack to The Skin I Live In.
When she gets up on
stage, her thinks 'What city am i in again? And then....breathe....'
The one super power
she'd like to have is to be able to 'clone myself' so she can 'get more done
that way sleep more work more.'
She speaks highly of
artist Frieda Kahlo: 'She was the subject of her art -- all of her work is a
self portrait and yet she shared universal stories and feelings by sharing her
personal story. Also, she was a freedom fighter and she lived a controversial
life and was a survivor so I admire her life story and art . The way she lived
her life as well as her art.'
It was Jean-Paul
Gaultier's idea 'to re-create the black patent leather cage' for her recent
tour.
On her favorite movie
star Marlene Dietrich she says, 'She is the archetype of an iconic strong
female equal parts masculine and feminine.'
The ex-wife of Guy
Ritchie says she's a 'hot mess' when she's mad.
She's 'absolutely
horrified' that some MDNA World Tour DVDs & Blu-Rays have sound problems.
'My label is looking into it,' Madonna wrote. 'Trying to get to the bottom of
it. It might be a case of old technology not working with new technology.
Please be patient. I spent 6 months editing and doing the sound mix for the
DVD, last thing I want to hear is that fans aren't getting the fruits of my
labor.'
Madonna admits she
took that photo of herself for the cover of the MDNA Tour DVD.
'Plucking my
eyebrows,' is what she does when she puts off working.
Madonna is not shy
about her staff, freely admitting, 'I've got an agent and a manager, a lawyer
and a chef, three nannies, an assistant and a driver and a jet.'
The icon also says
she still hates hydrangeas. When a fan asked where she should put some, Madonna
shot back, 'Up your ass.'
She may not be
classy, but she sure is fun to chat with.
